Very interesting, Nazim, your idea of writing a text proposing a test!
"Because we are creatures that plan, dream and predict the future".
At my age, predicting the future is not my hobby: I prefer to learn from my past.
"When we wake up in the morning, we think about what we will eat for breakfast while washing our faces, which way we will go to work while having breakfast, what we will tell in the morning office meeting at the meeting on the way to work. These sound familiar, right?"
Ah, my young Medium friend, yes, this has been familiar to me for decades! From home to an office, the rush, the need to do so many tasks, the expectation of meetings, the reality of the ineffectiveness of meetings; since they didn't solve it, solve things my way, demanding a lot of study and seriousness... I was a slave to all this, as possibly as you and many who read it.
This was necessary and I am proud of this time that allowed me to grow in various fields of activity and learn many things, that allowed me to give my family, my children, everything possible besides my love and affection, ah! but how little time I had to be with them!
Now, I have all the time in the world to dream, to write, to read these Medium texts - which I have to select because there are so many - to read or reread books, just knowing that the memory is much bigger than the physical brain can contain (https://blogflaviomusa.medium.com/can-memory-be-contained-in-the-brain-eb16e6cbe59) it is why I can't tell you what I thought, saw, imagined in three minutes.
Old age brings us its natural problems, but you cannot - yet - imagine the joy, freedom associated with it.
Long, prolific, full of accomplishments life for you.
Congratulations and thank you for your text that led me to such a long comment.
And, of course, thanks for following me! It's an honour for me.
