Touching poem, Hotse.

"We never spoke, never touched, and never met again".

A similar thing happened to me 45 years ago.

It was at a reception at the company I was then chairing; I knew she was one of the employees, but I had never seen her.

We looked at each other, she with an inviting smile; my heart soared and I held my breath. But I was with my girlfriend; she still looked at me one more time and disappeared.

I tried to find her name with the help of other employees, but they couldn't help me.

"But how I long for a glimpse — just one more ...".

Your poem reignited the old scene and flame.

For me, it will only remain in memory: I will never see her again.

For you, maybe this poem, declaration of love, will reach her. I wish so.

Congratulations and thank you very much!
