Perfect and thank you, Donna!
From an early age, I learned to respect the Vernacular, with my father, a strict teacher of the Portuguese language; I, therefore, know when it is convenient or necessary to break the rules.
English not being my mother tongue, I have Grammarly for Office. It irritates and annoys me every time I try to change my phrase from passive to active voice, completely changing the meaning or intention of the message.
And there I go looking for similar quotes in English to see if I'm not writing in a way that confuses or even changes the reader's understanding. If I don't find a "crutch", I read it once again and decide, almost always to keep my voice passive.
The readers generally do not criticize. Some generous readers, either ask what meaning I meant for or send valuable critics.
Again, thanks and congratulations!
