Delicious and excellent story, Ginuschuks .
Told like a fable, full of parallels that lead to a perfect "moral of the fable", told with honesty and humor.
"Also, he said that there was nothing wrong with hiring laborers as long as you could effectively supervise the laborers and their work and pay them well for the quality work to be done for you".
Wise words!
"After all, none of the portions of the farmland was cultivated in the last ten years because we would always want to give the Umunna land ten years of rest before it was shared among the eligible".
I don't understand agriculture, still less the cultivation of yam, but it seems to me that the land, first, doesn't need more than a year to be able to be planted again; second, it is logical to rotate pieces of land, leaving some pieces to rest for some time, while the others are ready for planting.
Surely you can explain this to me.
Congratulations! It's great that you published this story so that people outside your country and customs can understand.
And thanks again for following me: I was very honored and happy.
